Why register a trademark?
A company name registration, website domain or social account is not the same as a registered trademark. Registration can provide important rights for specified goods and services, subject to the applicable law.
The process, explained
Start with the mark you want to protect. Review relevant earlier marks, identify the owner and classes, prepare the application, then follow examination and any publication or opposition stages.
What about the price?
Our published trademark registration bundle is offered from RM2,000++, in line with the IPWARE reference package. Final scope, included items and any additional charges must be agreed before engagement.
An informed application
A search is useful, but finding no identical mark does not ensure success. Registrability depends on similarity, the nature of the mark and other legal considerations.

What happens before the application is filed?
We first need to know who will own the mark, the exact brand name or logo, what goods or services it covers, and whether there may be earlier conflicting marks. A search and an informed class selection can save a business from committing to packaging or campaigns before those risks are understood. Formal filing requirements, the professional scope of work and the quotation should be agreed with the appointed provider.
